Learning has always been a passion of mine. Even after college, I continued to seek knowledge through various avenues, and my career has provided me with a wealth of valuable experiences. I am constantly questioning the world around me, including the information we receive through various media channels. I find myself pondering about the beliefs we hold and why we hold them.
As I delved deeper into health and wellness, I pursued a Doctor of Naturopathy certification, which further solidified my belief that our bodies are designed to heal themselves. With knowledge and courage, we can trust our bodies during the healing process. Additionally, my certification in HeartMath Interventions has allowed me to guide clients towards inner peace, which can lead to balanced physical and emotional health.
During my journey towards health and wellness, I came across Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and discovered its powerful potential for helping individuals recognize and modify negative thought patterns and behaviors that can cause distress or interfere with daily life. CBT is founded on the principle that our thoughts about ourselves, others, and the world have a significant impact on our emotions and behaviors. With CBT, individuals can learn to reframe their thoughts in a more positive and productive way, leading to improved emotional and behavioral outcomes.
As a mother to a son who has been playing baseball for fifteen years, I have gained experience in helping athletes reach their goals by providing them with the tools they need to stay focused and confident.
Overall, I am passionate about helping individuals achieve long-term health and wellness, and I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
“Naturopathy is a philosophy, art, and science. It recognizes the body’s inherent process of healing and acts in no way to suppress, antagonize, or hinder these vital life forces. But rather it seeks to arouse, assist and cooperate with the body toward a restoration to normal.” - Robert J. Thiel, PhD, Naturopathy of the 21st Century
