Before you decide if working with me is a fit for you, I thought it would be helpful to share what I believe about the body. I believe your body has innate wisdom and is perfectly designed to navigate life. When you have symptoms your body is talking to you and letting you know that a change is needed. I often find that the root of health issues align with our current emotional state. This includes our thoughts, how we are talking to ourselves and what we believe about our current circumstances. Typically we have an emotional response to something that has occured in our life and it has an impact on our body. Learning to be mindful of our triggers and how we respond to life experiences plays a key role in our health. We have to change something for the body to respond differently. There are many ways to support the body. All methods have success stories. My role is to help you to determine the best fit for you. I will spend time helping you to understand and recognize your beliefs and perceptions and how they are playing a role in your current health. We will also look at how you are supporting your body and what modalities would be most beneficial to you. I have studied what is considered natural remedies that are gentle and help support the body during a healing phase. These include herbs, essential oils, homeopathy, flower essences, meditation and lifestyle choices such as food, water and movement. Besides being a board certified Naturopath I am also certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and am a HeartMath certified practitioner. If you are looking for guidance in making lifestyle changes and learning to see life through a different lens, I may be a fit for you. This approach requires you to take action steps and to be open to a new way of viewing dis-ease.
